Accidental Fortune . . .

By admin On February 3, 2010 Under Rants

Another great TV show my 7 year old and I love.

It’s airing on The Learning Channel and it’s called “Accidental Fortune”.

It’s about regular folks who stumbled upon things by accident that make them a fortune.

My favorite story was about an Ohio man who wanted to build a golf course.

So he’s got the tractor out and he start digging a hole in the ground for one of the lakes that would be on his course.

And the blade hits something in the soft ground and stops.

They hit on some kind of bone-like looking thingy from some kind of skeleton.

They call over a rep from the local museum to have a looksy.

And it turns out to be a perfectly preserved skeleton of an 11,000 year old Mastodon.

Later, he sells it to a Japanese Museum for $600,000

Another story was about a little lady who finds a $7 million table in her attic.

And another New York woman who finds a $1 million painting in the trash.

And so on . . .

Now, I don’t bet much.

But if I did bet, I’d bet that you or I are NOT going to be so lucky.

But I’ll tell you this . .

There’s treasures worth as much and more sitting in peoples businesses.

Intangible assets.

PS. These people had no idea what they were looking for. Their fortunes found them.
Imagine now what you can do when you know exactly what to look for.

PSS.  The Learning Channel is looking for new stories of Accidental Fortune.

And I was thinking and I don’t know if they would be into this.

But, maybe after you listen to some of the audio interviews from www.myfirsthmaclient.com

And after you put some of what you learn into action you can write to them.

They’re specifically looking for stories where a person discovered a fortune that was worth more than 15 thousand dollars.

All you do it send a summary of your story to fortune@mikemathisprods.com

It says to make sure you include your name and a phone number where you can be reached for further questions.
