Hurricane Certain . . .

By senoff.michael@gmail.com On November 8, 2015 No Comments

It happened in high school

My best friend, my brother and I had built an on ground fort in the back yard 250 feet behind our house.

This was way better then a tree house.

It eventually became famous in our neighborhood and was dubbed “The Studio.”

We built the Studio into the ground with left-over plywood and two-by-fours we had from a remodel of our home’s basement.

The Studio started out in the shape of a big rectangle.

It mesured 15 feet long, 8 feet wide and 3 1/2 feet tall.

Just tall enough to sit up without our heads hitting the wood roof.

The Studio had a hinged and locking door.

We ran electrical by connecting five 50 foot extension cords that plugged into our home’s electrical outlet.

There was a secret knock you had to do to get in.

The Studio had a left over mattress, blankets, heater, wall-to-wall carpet and was decorated with a rainbow of Christmas lights.

And it became our favorite place that summer of 1979.

All of our friends in the neighborhood would come to the Studio.

Our parents were so impressed with it they would bring their friends into the studio to look.

Kids from the neighborhood when they ran away from home, they would stay in the studio.

We eventually upgraded with a corded telephone, strobe lights, lava lamps, and even sweet smelling incense.

My sister’s friends would come into the studio and I have memories there I’ll never forget.

It was a gathering place for family and neighborhood friends.

And one summer night the fun was over.

Storm Certain.

Atlanta Georgia poured with rain.

And the studio flooded.

We were so excited to get the Studio built that the thought of rain proofing the Studio never crossed our minds.

And that’s how it is with most people.

Glen Turner said it best.

He said . . .

“In fact most of us at the age of 65, over 85% won’t even be worth $600.

You’ll depend on social security, welfare, unemployment to take care of you.

This is the way most of our lives end.

In fact the most of us won’t ever amount to anything; we know it and we accept it because we’ve been taught this by our friends and neighbors.

And our friends and neighbors don’t know any better because that’s what they’ve been taught also.”

PS. We eventually rebuilt the Studio, even bigger this time.

We planed ahead for the next Atlanta rain storm.

All so the good times would last.

What plans do you have for your next rainy storm?

None you say?

Check out a few of my back up plans I’ll use when the hurricane blows.

I’ve spent the last five years of my life creating fascinating streaming audio interviews with big name marketers and getting them to spill the beans on how they got rich and famous and I’m giving most of my life’s work away free.

These interviews below are designed to be superior to any lecture out there.

They’re more informative, natural, and the information is more dynamic and dense.

The sheer scope of marketing and business growth information below is mind blowing.

A Simple Plan . . .

By senoff.michael@gmail.com On November 8, 2015 No Comments

I love the US movie directed by Sam Raimi in 1998 called “Simple Plan”?

It starred Billy Bob Thornton, the actor. In it, he was playing a dim-witted but good-hearted fellow.

And he felt screwed over by a gang of thieves.

Because after a robbery the gang was supposed to split up all the money.

But they couldn’t do it until it was safe.

And Billy Bob was getting so impatient because he wanted his share of the money.

And he exploded in a rage at a public bar and said . . .

What About My Money?

Not a good move on his part.

They killed the BIG MOUTH off in the movie.

I’m here to tell you that it’s safe now for you.

And you don’t have to rob a bank to get your share of the money.

A Poem By Michael Senoff . . .

By senoff.michael@gmail.com On November 8, 2015 No Comments

I’m a poet and I didn’t even know it.

You ever feel paralyzed

To make your move

Doing nothing

Because you’re afraid to set your sail

Afraid to fail

If you’ve been thinking

About calling your shots

But the thought of failure

Gives you the trots

You’re invited to sail with me

But you’ll say . . .

This is BS

Balderdash

Baloney

And

Bunk

You’ll say Michael

This is childish

Foolish

This HMA

It’s a bunch of junk

You’ll first reject it

Deflect it

And put yourself down

You’ll call your self

Stupid

Uneducated

Worthless

And brown

You’ll push it out of your mind

You’ll talk it over

You’ll sleep on it

Step on it

Run it by with the wife

Your friend

Your Sister

And Brother

You’ll even say, I need to call my Mother

But what they say won’t matter neither

It’s just you and the mirror

In the end

Whatever you want to do

Or don’t any longer

Start it today

And you’ll become stronger

Here’s your chance to call your own shots

There’s a saying we have here at (HMA) Hidden Marketing Assets . .

“Your first paying client will be your hardest.”
