I’ll never forget the time I played a practical joke on my Sister Robyn.

She told me that she was having problems getting up in the morning.

So I decided to help her out.

I placed a free ad in the Craigslist section under services wanted.

The add read . .  Painter Wanted – $30 p/hour call XXX-XXXX ( my sisters phone number )

Robyn told me her phone rang non-stop for hours.

She received so many phone calls for the $30 painting job, I had to take the ad down.

It was a funny prank, yet a stark look into the real world.

Anyone can call themselves a painter.

And after all expenses, most are only taking home $5-10 profit per hour.

So you can understand a job paying $30 per hour is going to make the phone sing.

This little prank reminds me of Tim, a struggling exterior house painter.
