The Meat Of A Good Joint Venture . . .

By senoff.michael@gmail.com On April 29, 2015 No Comments

Today I cook.

I smoked an 8 lb prime rib, bone in, on my new wood pellet smoker.

I smell like I’ve been sitting in front of an alder wood camp fire.

This meat was incredible.

When you cook up a prime rib like this, you don’t need sides.

And that’s the way we ate it.

Just the meat.

Anyway, I wanted to get this interview off to you before I go see a movie with the boys.

It’s a two part interview with my licensing man.

His name is Rand Brenner.

But you can call him Mr. Money.

Rand can actually make the subject of licensing IP cool and fun.

They call him America’s dean of licensing.

He’s negotiated landmark merchandise and promotional licensing agreements with Hewlett Packard, Kellogg’s, Bandai America, Hasbro, Quaker Oats, Pepsi, and many others.

Rand managed the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (a $3 billion worldwide retail sales licensing phenomenon.

He also was involved with the Batman movie (Tim Burton/Warner Bros production generating over $500 million in merchandise revenues.

And don’t forget the classic Looney Tunes (i.e. Bugs Bunny) and Tiny Toon Adventures (Spielberg/Warner Bros).

But the best thing about Rand it that he can teach.

He’s not going to bore you like an IP lawyer or one of those Hollywood stuffed shirts.

And there’s no fat on this interview.

Just the meat.

Contact me and I’ll send you this master class on licensing before the sun sets tomorrow.

PPS. You can fly

Have a great rest of your Day.
