I’ll never forget

The day my son was born.

He came out covered in white stuff.

His eye’s all squinty.

And man did this kid have a mop of hair.

He was finally here.

My Son.

The nurse toweled him off

And put him in my wife’s arms.

And I thought to my self.

This IS the best day of my life.

Joe had ten toes and ten fingers.

He weighed seven pounds.

Was 21 inches long.

And appeared to be the “perfect baby”

And he was crying.

He was struggling to catch his breath.

The nurse wanted to take him from Mom.

To measure him.

Check him out.

And do all the things a nurse does to a new born baby.

She placed Joe on a rolling cart.

He was all bundled up

He had a little brown Binni on his head.

And I walked along side with my son as she wheeled him across the room.

He was laying on his back.

And one of his little red arms was sticking out and up.

It looked like his fingers were calling to mine.

Joseph wanted me to hold his hand.

And I put my pinky finger into his little baby hand.

And he grabbed it.

His little tiny pink fingernails were as shiny as the inside of an oyster shell.

And about the size of this letter ( O ).

Joseph’s eyes were closed

And he was crying.

And he grabbed on to my pinky.

And I looked at him and said . .

“Hi. . .

I’m your dad.

And were going to be buddies!”

And Joe stopped crying.

He opened his eyes suddenly.

Let go of my baby finger.

And shot me the bird

And said . .

Screw You Dad!

And I awoke to realize this story was only a bad dream.

But for some Dads, this is the story of their life.

And that’s why if you’re a parent living this nightmare, you may want to hear this interview.

It’s with Dr. David Swanson.

The title is called Your Quick Reference Guide To Stress-Free Parenting

Go to

http://www.hardtofindseminars.com/Dr_David_Swanson_Interview.htm

Are you feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, stressed-out?

Those words don’t need to describe parenting, but often times, they do.

Even the best parents give in when their children are whining, begging, throwing tantrums, or just plain making them feel guilty for saying “no.” But now you have help for whatever situation comes up.

And in this audio you’ll hear all about it from Dr. David Swanson, author of Help! My Kid Is Driving Me Crazy.

According to him, the trick is in knowing exactly what your buttons are – while having a quick-reference plan for what to do when those buttons get pushed.

And you’ll hear how to do that in this short audio.

You’ll Also Hear . . .

* How to make sense of your child’s behavior – these “natural reactions” don’t mean your child is “bad” or headed in the wrong direction

* How to recognize the usual “tactics” children use to get what they want and a few quick tips that will probably stop them in their tracks

* The two different ways we interact with our children – and “real-life” examples of how to make the most of each

* The 3 reasons parents yell at their kids – know your own triggers and you’ll be able to devise a better plan

* The single biggest trick divorced parents usually fall prey to and communication strategies that will make sure that doesn’t happen to you

The goal of good parenting is to have a healthy, happy family, but that doesn’t mean you have to be a pushover in the process.

Each situation and child may be different, but with this quick reference guide, you’ll be prepared for whatever comes up.

http://www.hardtofindseminars.com/Dr_David_Swanson_Interview.htm

PS. My son Joseph did have some health challenges when we was born. But he’s a healthy and happy 11 year old boy now. And he’s most certainly still my little buddy.

Little Osama remembers his Father’s favorite red tie.

The one with all the little blue boat anchors.

And how Dad always tucked the back part into his dress shirt between buttons number three and four.

And how to make sure the knot was not too tight.

And the length.

Not too long.

Not too short.

As Osama grew older, his favorite tie became a red one too.

Just like Dads.

And his favorite ice cream flavor was Jamoca Almond Fudge.

Just like Dad’s favorite ice cream flavor.

And Osama liked BBQ Ribs.

And the end part of the brisket with lots of fat.

And now Osama talks like and walks like his Dad.

The older Osama became, the more Osama was turning into his Dad.

And he liked it.

And his dad liked it too.
