<p>And within the story&#8217;s message, you&#8217;ll learn a simple way to maintain and build secret relationships.</p>
<p>And it&#8217;s a lesson Ben learned from his good friend, the late Ray Considine.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s how Ben told it . . .</p>
<p>&#8220;Ray Considine sincerely made me believe for 40 years I was his best friend on earth.</p>
<p>And I&#8217;m sure I was one of many best friends on earth to Ray.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s just the way he was.</p>
<p>Ray built secret relationships with everybody.</p>
<p>And as a result he always got the best.</p>
<p>Ray would say  &#8220;Somewhere . . there&#8217;s always a yellow door.&#8221;</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll never forget a story when he went to the World&#8217;s Fair in New York.</p>
<p>And there was the AT&amp;T exhibit.</p>
<p>It was the most popular spot at the fair.</p>
<p>The lines were four hours long.</p>
<p>And Ray&#8217;s standing in line and he looks over and sees a yellow door on the side of the building.</p>
<p>Like a service entrance or something.</p>
<p>And Ray goes over and knocks on the yellow door.</p>
<p>And he begins a typical Ray Considine conversation with whoever opens the door.</p>
<p>And he and his wife are suddenly inside the exhibit.</p>
<p>They are not at the head of the line but in the actual exhibit.</p>
<p>Ray laughed when he told the story.</p>
<p>He told me to always look around because there&#8217;s always a yellow door.</p>
<p>And when you get there be prepared to make a friend.</p>

<p>And he told me 250 degrees Fahrenheit for 2 and 1/2 hours.</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve been smoking meats for years and know that when smoking beef,<br />
ribs or chicken, long and slow is the way to go.</p>
<p>So I changed my question and asked Old Smokey this..</p>
<p>I said&#8230;</p>
<p>&#8220;Old Smokey, if you were going to BBQ your family the best<br />
BBQ ribs ever, how long and at what temperature would you smoke<br />
them at?&#8221;</p>
<p>And this time his answer was different.</p>
<p>He said &#8220;I would smoke them all day long at 150 degrees.&#8221;</p>
<p>Bingo!</p>
<p>This was the REAL answer I was looking for.</p>

<p>Last Friday, some jerk backed into my car, destroyed the front<br />
bumper, bent the tip of my hood and drove away.</p>

<p>So this morning, my car was ready to be picked up.</p>
<p>And on the drive over to Courtesy Chevrolet&#8217;s body shop, I called<br />
my sister because I had not heard from her all week.</p>
<p>And I had a feeling that something was wrong.</p>
<p>She&#8217;s my triplet Sister and we can read each others thoughts.</p>
<p>Sure enough, I was right.</p>
<p>She told me she had just lost her largest account.</p>
<p>An account that represents a very large part of her income.</p>
<p>She said . .</p>
<p>&#8221; Michael, I&#8217;m Scared. &#8221;</p>
<p>So we started talking about e-mailing her customers and clients.</p>
<p>And she proceeded to tell me that her one biggest insecurity is<br />
that she can&#8217;t write.</p>
<p>She said she has &#8220;nothing important to say&#8221;.</p>
<p>And that no one would be interested in her boring life.</p>
<p>And that she was talking to her friend Kim, in Atlanta.</p>
<p>And Kim has the same problem too.</p>
<p>Writers Block!</p>
<p>I wanted to shake her and tell her to snap out of this negativity.</p>
<p>I calmly explained that what she&#8217;s describing is very common.</p>
<p>And her problem with writing can be fixed quickly and simply.</p>
<p>I told Robyn that she has a lot to say.</p>
<p>And that people would listen to her.</p>
<p>And they would look forward to reading her e-mails.</p>
<p>I said to Robyn . .</p>

<p>Years ago, I had the same attitude about writing.</p>
<p>But I don&#8217;t any more.</p>

<p>I don&#8217;t watch TV much, but I do enjoy a good movie once in a while.</p>
<p>My old set was 10 years old.</p>
<p>I had to pay someone to take it away.</p>
<p>And the pricing for these huge digital 1080-I sets had dropped so<br />
much,<br />
I was practically forced by the father-in-law to say YES!</p>
