Jerk . . .
I was 15 and I needed money.
Mommy and Daddy were not my bank.
My first “real” paying job was as a counter person scooping ice
cream at Dipper Dan’s Ice Cream Shop on the corner of Roswell Road
and Hammond Drive in Atlanta Georgia.
The owner was a Chinese man.
His son had these huge coke bottle like eyeglasses.
He was the one training me as a soda jerk.
I really did feel like a jerk.
I was making a big $2.85 per hour.
I had a hardest time figuring out how to give proper change from
the cash register.
For the life of me I could not even work the milkshake blending
machine right.
I remember once, the blender shot the milkshake all over a
customer’s freshly laundered dress shirt.
The Chinese owner was yelling at me in Chinese.
The customer was furious.
And I said to myself, “this job stinks!”
I toughed it out for a few more weeks and quit.
Sometimes quitting can be the best thing you can do.
But only if it opens new doors to something better.
And in this interview you’ll learn about some new things you can
do..
It’s with one of my Audio Marketing Secrets students who wanted to
grill me on the finer points of creating audios, and I have to
admit I was a little surprised.
I thought I’d been asked every question about audio information
products that could possibly be asked.
But Paul came up with some new ones.
By having me give advice to myself as if I were starting all over
again, Paul Stack essentially forced me to look at how I’ve
improved not only my interviewing style over the years but also my
efficiency with time and money management.
And I share all of these lesser-known secrets in this interview.
Some Of What You’ll Hear In This Audio:
√ How outsourcing can help you leverage your time
√ What aspects of creating audios are the most time-consuming
√ Tips on getting interviews with the biggest names in any field
√ Examples of how to “set the hook” when fishing for Joint Ventures
√ Ideas for packaging interviews to create higher-end products.
√ How my interviewing has improved over the years
√ And much more…
One of the main goals in Audio Marketing is to create less hassle
for yourself and more value for the customer – while still
maintaining healthy profit margins.
There are many ways to do this
including outsourcing your labor and making joint venture deals.
And in this interview, we go over some of the most efficient ways I
know how.
