Last night, I was watching a US TV reality show called ” The Biggest Looser.

The Biggest Looser is a television show that centers around overweight contestants attempting to lose weight to fight for a cash prize.

The contestants always have the same goal: to lose the most amount of weight to become “The Biggest Loser.”

One of the contestants was describing his battle with weight. ( he was topping the scales at 350 lbs )

And looking into the camera, crying he says . .

“Getting fat is like digging a hole in the sand.

And once you think the hole is big enough, sand starts falling in from the sides.

And so I would dig even more . .

And then, more sand would cave into the hole.

The faster I dig, the faster the sand would fall.

Until finally, I could not dig my way out.”
