My kid launches first rocket . .

By admin On July 23, 2009 Under Rants

Did you know I have a video clip of my son for the
first six years of his life without ever missing one day?

I don’t take video every day now, but I did recently take a
video of my son launching his first rocket.

I’ve got both my kids in a new summer camp this year.

Last year’s camp was more like a babysitting service.

This year, we changed it up a little bit.

We put them in a camp which is somewhat like a school.

But these are not “boring classes” like history and math.

These are exciting and fun classes like food chemistry, animation,
illustration, architecture, jewelry making, magic, and my older
son’s favorite: Rocketry.

In rocketry, the kids get to build and launch three rockets.

Last Thursday, my son completed his first rocket.

He invited me up to the camp to watch him launch it.

Launch time was 12:40 PM.

He called it “The Nova Pay-loader”.

So I drove up to the camp.

I had my video camera on my phone ready to roll.

And 3..2..1.. Blast off!

I am a lucky Dad to be able to be there with my son on launch day.

I was the only Dad there.

All the other Dads must have been working.

I have lot’s of first time videos of my kids.

I made the decision to be around for my kids as they grow up.

And it’s not too late for you.

My dream is for you to be able to do the same for your kids and
family.

PS. What do you want to launch today?
What new venture do you want to get off the ground?
