Automate It . . .
As a father and home owner, I have a ton of stuff I need to do
around the home before I get going with my day.
Like..
Getting my boys out of bed
Making them breakfast
Bring it all to the table.
Sitting down with my boys and eating together.
( one of my favorite parts of the day )
Getting their cloths out.
Cleaning up the dishes
Unpacking the Dishwasher
Encouraging the boys to . . .
Get dressed
Put matching socks on
Practice piano
Read for 10 minutes
Complete any homework
Run or walk a few laps outside

Don’t Quit . . .
Last night, my two boys were kicking the ball playing some crazy
game they dreamed up in their little minds.
I was sitting watching them.
Then my older one, Joe yells “I Quite” and he sits down.
His arms are crossed and he said “I’m not playing because Alan
cheated”. (Alan is the younger one)
And I said to Joe “coooommoon”.
“It’s just a game”.
“Let’s just play”.
“I’ll be on your team”.
And he says..
No, I quit!
And I started to chant . .
D O N ‘ T Q U I T . . .
D O N ‘ T Q U I T . . .
D O N ‘ T Q U I T . . .
and then a little faster.
DON’T QUIT, DON’T QUIT, DON’T QUIT . . .
I had my both my hands balled up into fists.
My arms outreached and I was staring Joe directly in the eye..
DON’T QUIT, DON’T QUIT, DON’T QUIT. . .
His arms were still crossed but I saw them start to loosen.
DON’T QUIT, DON’T QUIT, DON’T QUIT. . .
And then I could see him struggling to keep him self from smiling.
And I chanted even louder.
DON’T QUIT, DON’T QUIT, DON’T QUIT, DON’T QUIT . . .
I was now jumping up and down with each chant.
DON’T QUIT, DON’T QUIT, DON’T QUIT, DON’T QUIT . . .
I then held my hands out waiting for him to get up and run on to
the field like a football team on home coming game.
DON’T QUIT, DON’T QUIT, DON’T QUIT, DON’T QUIT . . .
And the pressure was too much and Joe got up and placed him self
back into the game.
He just needed someone on his team.
Reminds me of a student of mine named Doug Potts.
Doug was about to quit on a dream of doing audio interviews because
he was afraid.
And It’s completely normal to get nervous before an interview.
Everyone does.

Remember, audio interviews aren’t about you.
