Blueberry Jam . . .
True story
This morning, I spread Smucker’s Blueberry jam on my toast.
It was the best jam I’ve had in a long time.
But I didn’t always eat blueberry jam.
When I was in fifth grade, I had blueberry jam one morning.
I went to school and one of my classmates said . . .
“Michael, your chin is purple.”
I did not believe him so I went into the bathroom to look
in the mirror.
And sure enough, my chin WAS purple.
And for 35 years, I never ate blueberry jam again.
I was “allergic” to blueberry jam.
Only recently, did I start questioning weather I was “really”
allergic to blueberry jam.
And I bravely tried blueberry jam again.

Last year, my 8 year old son, Alan summed it up in two simple words.
“Join In”
Patricio, Bobby and four other boys where playing a game called
wall-ball during school recess.
And Alan had nothing to do.
