Paper Reindeers . . .

Here’s  a short story I think will better your day.

My home office is a converted garage and it’s connected directly to the laundry room.

A puke yellow cabinet is attached to the wall directly outside my office door.

Me and my two boys were sitting on the couch talking and I looked at the cabinet.

And taped to the cabinet is a big brown three legged paper reindeer.

My first son made it  in kindergarten.

It has a big red nose make from construction paper.

Attached to the head are two big black saucer eyes.

It’s been looking directly at me for over 7 years.

And you know what?

I’d never even noticed it . . . until today.

And that’s like a lot of things in my life.

You never know what you have until you look.

Kind of like my blog.
