I have not contacted it you in a while with questions but I wanted
to share the GREAT news that I got my first paying client.
Not a big company, but it has a lot of referral opportunities.
Above all it is my FIRST so the next few shall come much, much

I have been trying just about anything in the last six months.
I sent out some letters to the intended market niche, ($1M to $5M).
I did some cold calling with a virtual assistant.
I did networking.
I did knocking on doors.
I asked for referrals.
And I prayed.
And then I met someone and they told me they were asked to help turn
a business around but they lack the expertise.
When I told him about my background and my current consulting
practice, he was interested.
He then suggested that I call his friend to see if I could help
him set the business in a way that had some kind of order.
I met the person and did an opportunity analysis.
He was not my first one, but with the help of the referring
individual, he was much more receptive and agreed to a two project

The second project will be to jump his sales.
I charged him $1500 per project.
I received partial payment after the first meeting when I went over
what he was actually buying.
On the second visit, he paid the rest of the payment.
After I went over the numbers of the business he saw the value of
having me there.
Now that I have some income . . .
1. My wife is very happy
2. My confidence is just shot through the roof.
3. I am putting all of my efforts into actual JV partnerships since
there is such a difference when I am going in with someone else’s

got a bigger prospect in Dallas.
I should be talking to them at the end of this week.
They will become client number two at the regular $2500 to $5000
per project and for multiple projects.
