The Party’s Over . . .

Are your party days of easy money over?

Have you gotten off the gravy train?

Would you consider a part time gig as an HMA Marketing
Consultant?

Do you remember an e-mail I sent out called

“Do It Like Dan Sherman”?

It’s was an inspirational story about a man who was stuck.

His party was over.

He was now just an average nobody.

But Dan wanted more then average, so he gathered his guts.

He accepted the fear.

And he took action.

He started using a simple yet very powerful telemarketing scrip he
swiped from one of my interview about cold calling.

Dan used the script to set up face to face appointments with local
businesses he called out of the yellow pages that same day.

His plan was to sell consulting work project by project so
he could get going as an HMA Marketing Consultant.

Michael, it’s going great! I have meetings to close with two
businesses on Friday. I’ve managed to create some really positive
results despite some setbacks.

Both companies I am meeting with are eager to have me spearhead
their marketing.

But I’m still approaching this on a project by project basis while
we suss each other out.

I’m not counting my eggs until they’re hatched.

I won’t get too excited until I’ve got checks in hand.

I haven’t quit.

I’ve even found a networking group that has someone representing
just about every business category except marketing consulting.

I was mobbed by people interested in my services when I attended
their meetings for the first time.

And they asked if I would give a presentation to the group in an
upcoming meeting.

I had such a large crowd asking me questions and listening to me
that I pretty much feel like I already gave one.

Guess I shouldn’t be surprised that so many business owners are
eager for genuine marketing know how.

My next big move (to compliment the cold calling and networking I’m
already doing) is to start holding short, free workshops to
generate interest for in-depth group workshops like Richard has
talked about.

These will be short and informative.

And I even have access to an executive boardroom for free.

It looks like it can hold at least 50 people, probably more.

And I don’t see that I’ll have any problem filling it.

I’m going to hold my first workshop in about a week.

And between the two closings I have tomorrow, along with the
revenue generated by that first workshop, I plan on buying the HMA
course.

None of this would have been possible without the huge amount of
material you’ve provided for free.

I want you to know how much I appreciate that.
